“Last August I recorded the space between the International Passenger Terminal and the Opera House at Circular Quay, Sydney. This place, originally known as Warrane by the Gadigal people, exudes a strange resonance, as tourists walk over the area where Europeans first settled on Australian soil. One place which exists in many times simultaneously, through the different histories told by the different people who have called it home.”
